Sleep Training

About a month ago I decided to sleep train Mathis. He had been sleeping relatively well until a little before the 4-month mark. I thought maybe he was just getting to the point where he was needing solids. But then the introduction of rice cereal didn't make much difference. So a week before his 6-month birthday when my back was killing me and I was super tired, I decided I was just going to let him cry. After 3 nights of letting him cry it out with my assisting him one of the nights, he slept through the night without crying. Hallelujah! He doesn't sleep 11-12 hrs straight yet, but at least I get a full night's sleep.
